Clash

A Clash of Titans? …

What happens when the CEOs of several HUGE, iconic organisations attempt to take down X – the (now) free speech platform of the world’s wealthiest man?

He gives them two words and two fingers.

Warning: the video contains profanity.

Regular readers would know that I’m no fanboy of Musk, a leading Transhumanist. But credit where credit is due. He is making a stand against the Censorship Industrial Complex.

Companies such as Apple, Disney, IBM and NBC have pulled advertising dollars in response to an alleged antisemitic post on X which Musk re-tweeted.  What some may have missed leading up to this was that Media Matters for America was caught manipulating X data by creating a fake account and curating posts to misinform advertisers about the placement of their post.  This kind of thing is not new.  Musk wrote:

“Despite our clear and consistent position, X has seen a number of attacks from activist groups like Media Matters and legacy media outlets who seek to undermine freedom of expression on our platform because they perceive it as a threat to their ideological narrative and those of their financial supporters.  These groups try to use their influence to attack our revenue streams by deceiving advertisers on X.”

When the interviewer asked Musk what he’s going to do if advertisers boycott X, Musk responded with:

(3:10)  “Tell it to the judge”

Who does Musk believe the judge to be?

Poly-Crisis

Quietly for decades, but now aggressively since 2015, the globalist elites ruling major corporations have joined forces with national leaders to force their ideology onto the world’s masses. At their UN and WEF meetings, our betters have agreed on a new term, one designed to instill terror and to demand increased, centralised control. They say:

“We’re on the brink of a ‘polycrisis’”

and then go on to explain that despite:

  • tensions in Ukraine and the Middle East threatening nuclear war;
  • fuel prices and inflation impoverishing workers and driving homelessnesss; and
  • interest rates and national debts crippling economies

our collective focus still needs to remain on climate change.  In fact, the recent COP28 Climate Change Meeting provided the following priorities:

  • Triple Renewables investment by 2030
  • Phase out fossil fuels
  • Phase out meat

They forgot to acknowledge that their COVID policies caused much of the pain. So, what does Joe Average have to say about this?

ESG’s lies exposed; Money Talks

Australia’s Snowy 2.0 project is being reset after confirming cost blowouts of billions of dollars.

The project is now expected to cost $12 billion, six times the original forecast.

In April 2022, the Clean Energy Australia 2022 report revealed a 17% drop in investment in new large-scale renewable energy projects for 2021 compared with the previous year.

Despite the media hype and the massive tax-payer funded renewables subsidies, the green energy dream is vapourising.

The average Aussie is just not buying it.

This Wall Street Journal article refers to new research showing how extravagant climate promises are far more wasteful than they are useful.

“Though more than 130 countries, including most of the globe’s big emitters, have passed or are considering laws mandating net-zero carbon emissions, there’s been no comprehensive cost-benefit evaluation of that policy—until now.”

Bjorn Lomborg describes how policy-makers are conveniently ignoring the Cost versus Benefit facts and pushing on regardless.

Savvy investors aren’t fooled.  Sustainability projects simply cannot deliver and the green economy is a scam.

Whyte goes on to write:

“Is it a coincidence that this comes as ESG funds – once so powerful that terms like greenium, a premium paid for an environmentally friendly company, were thrown about – have well and truly peaked?”

Beware: Blackrock CEO Larry Fink plans to continue manipulating capital markets with the woke agenda by replacing the rejected “ESG” monicker with terms like “Conscious investing, ethical investing, sustainable investing, or socially responsible investing (SRI)”.

Panic at the UN

The UN is also panicking. With only seven years to go to 2030, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are nowhere near target.  When announcing his SDG rescue plan, UN Secretary-General António Guterres wrote:

“Halfway to the deadline for the 2030 Agenda, we are leaving more than half the world behind.  We have stalled or gone into reverse on more than 30 percent of the SDGs. …

Unless we act now, the 2030 Agenda will become an epitaph for a world that might have been.’

The report reveals the number of people living in extreme poverty is higher than it was four years ago.  Hunger has also increased and is now back at 2005 levels.”

Duh! Small businesses were crushed through mandatory COVID lockdowns while Amazon and big stores made a killing. Farmers were forced to reduce Nitrogen use by half and cull their herds.

So, what do leftists do when confronted with the cold, hard facts of reality? When their dreams hit the brick wall of reality at 100 kph? They simply lie and triple-down!

A Clash of Titans or a Clash of Values?

We see how the Sustainable part of the globalist’s future is not looking so pretty. What about the Inclusive part?

DEI is on the nose

Bari Weiss (born March 25, 1984) is an American journalist, writer, and editor.  She was an op-ed and book review editor at The Wall Street Journal (2013–2017) and an op-ed staff editor and writer on culture and politics at The New York Times (2017–2020).

According to The Washington Post, Weiss “portrays herself as a liberal uncomfortable with the excesses of left-wing culture.”  In an interview with Joe Rogan, she described herself as a “left-leaning centrist”.

Bari Weiss called for an end to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs on Tuesday and argued that they undermine the “central missions” of institutions that adopt such policies.

Weiss wrote in a piece for Tablet Magazine that institutions such as colleges and universities, media companies, museums, major corporations and more had adopted “diversity, equity and inclusion” programs.

But in reality, these words are now metaphors for an ideological movement bent on recategorizing every American not as an individual, but as an avatar of an identity group, his or her behavior prejudged accordingly, setting all of us up in a kind of zero-sum game,” Weiss wrote.

Weiss, founder of The Free Press, said DEI programs undermine “the central missions of the institutions that adopt it,” and said the response to Hamas’ terrorist attack against Israel from college leaders and students across the U.S. showed just how dangerous the DEI ideology is.

The Fraud of Diversity and Inclusion

Someone who knows a thing or two about DEI is Dr. James Lindsay. Introducing a recent podcast, The Fraud of Diversity and Inclusion, Lindsay wrote:

“’Diversity’ and ‘Inclusion’ don’t mean what they sound like they mean.  People are catching on to this all around the world, but we need to go deeper.  It’s necessary not just to know something is wrong with these ideas and their implementation but also to know how and why they’re wrong.  Ultimately, this means grasping the Left’s Woke Marxist mindset, namely the idea of cultural hegemony.

You see, ‘Diverse’ means ‘outside of the culturally hegemonic viewpoint,’ and ‘Inclusion’ means ‘including and protecting counter-hegemonic perspectives and the people who promote them.’

Understanding that the Left always thinks in terms of the evil spirits they call ‘systemic power’ is necessary to understand all of their terms, especially these two for practical reasons.”

Lindsay describes how the Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci first discovered the secret entrance for Marxist philosophy into the West.  As I wrote in Pedigree:

“Gramsci believed that the prevailing ideological support system in the West would shield itself from any organised opposition.  He, therefore, viewed churches, charities, the media, schools, universities and ‘economic corporate’ power as organisations that needed to be invaded s l o w l y, by socialist thinkers.

Gramsci’s works became a foundational element of the Cultural Marxist movement.” He wrote:

“SOCIALISM IS PRECISELY THE RELIGION THAT MUST OVERWHELM CHRISTIANITY. … IN THE NEW ORDER, SOCIALISM WILL TRIUMPH BY FIRST CAPTURING THE CULTURE VIA INFILTRATION OF SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, CHURCHES AND THE MEDIA BY TRANSFORMING THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF SOCIETY.”

The dominant Judaeo-Christian culture had to be infiltrated and gradually destroyed from within, argued Gramsci, in order for Marxism to take root.  Lindsay eloquently explains how Diversity uses the free speech value of the West to weasel its way in and then uses Inclusion to demand that anyone promoting the previously dominant Judaeo-Christian culture be excluded.

A hill to die on

According to Musk, the public is the judge.  If the public rise up, then free speech will remain.  Otherwise, free speech, and X will fail.

Several years after the Old Testament character Daniel was taken away to Babylon and elevated to a position of power, opponents searched for a way to destroy him.  They decided to trick the king into passing a law that prohibited Daniel from praying to his God.  So, what did Daniel do?

“… he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open toward Jerusalem); and he continued kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying and giving thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously.”

Daniel Chapter 6, verse 10

That was Daniel’s hill.

Free speech provides a platform for the Judaeo-Christian West to argue for a superior set of beliefs and values to those presented by the woke (sponsored by globalist elites, the UN and WEF).

Australia is a party to the seven key international human rights treaties. Australia has signed and ratified:

  • The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)
  • International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights

From Article 19:

  • Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.
  • Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice.

Warning

Following the US Supreme Court ruling on Same Sex Marriage, Justice Samuel Alito provided a dissenting opinion. Alito stood up for marriage as tradition that goes back for millenia, saying it was “inextricably linked” to procreation.  He also wrote about religious liberty in his dissent, saying the decision “will be used to vilify Americans who are unwilling to assent to the new orthodoxy.”

He imagined “that those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.”

And he, too warned that the Court was exceeding the limits of its power, writing, Americans…should worry about what the majority’s claim of power portends.”

And that’s not just for Americans.  It applies to anyone from a Western nation built on Judaeo Christian beliefs.

It appears that Musk has chosen free speech to be his hill to die on.  Do you have one?

Musk also saw “we the people” as “the judge.”

I hope he’s not pinning his hopes on the next generation.

In a recent interview with Melbourne students at a pro-Palestine rally, when asked about Hamas, two girls turned to each other and said “what’s Hamas?”

Thankfully, there is a judge above all earthly judges.
